Chili Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cubed Beef
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes

Toppings

  • Avocado
  • Green Onion
  • Sour Cream
  • Cheddar Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Put your beef cubes in the pan and sear each side well in olive oil.
  • Deglaze the pan with red wine or the wine of your choice. Add in the can of diced tomatoes. I also had some leftover tomato sauce on hand so I added that in as well. Add garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, italian seasoning and 2 bay leaves.
  • Let this cook for at least 25 minutes before adding the vegetables
  • Add in the diced red and green bell pepper and onion. Let this cook for 25 more minutes.
  • Add a can of mixed beans. Cook for 25 more minutes.

Notes

That’s it, fast and simple! You can put this on a bed of rice, fries or a bowl with some saltine crackers. So good!
