Italian Pasta Salad

This classic Italian Pasta Salad features a colorful mix of vegetables, cheeses, and a zesty Italian dressing, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb rotini pasta, cooked and rinsed under cold water
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup salami, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, salami, black olives, red onion, and green bell pepper.
  2. Add the chopped basil and pour the Italian dressing over the salad. Toss well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Before serving, toss again and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
