Italian Pasta Salad
This classic Italian Pasta Salad features a colorful mix of vegetables, cheeses, and a zesty Italian dressing, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
- 1 lb rotini pasta, cooked and rinsed under cold water
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 cup salami, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 3/4 cup Italian dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, salami, black olives, red onion, and green bell pepper.
- Add the chopped basil and pour the Italian dressing over the salad. Toss well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, toss again and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
